Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the corporate parts operations function including but not limited to managing parts availability, financials, back order processing, core processing and inventory and logistics control.

Responsibilities:

* Interfaces with Caterpillar and other suppliers, customers, industry experts and Fabick's Product Support Operations to develop long term strategies to ensure Fabick has a best-in-class parts supply chain.
* Responsible for ensuring the organization reaches its financial goals including but not limited to PAD, cost per activity, absorption ratio, emergency fees, inventory turnover among others. Leads the organization to ensure parts availability to support profitable sales growth objectives.
* Lead a diverse team to manage the following parts operations functions: parts stock ordering and inventory control, core processing, back order processing, pricing and parts related systems maintenance. Sets goals and deadlines for the department and measures results.
* Makes recommendations on and supports implementation of the Fabick parts operations and logistics strategy, supporting processes, systems and policies throughout the company. Drive results through metrics by department and store.
* Makes parts pricing strategy recommendations to the executive team based on market and operational considerations and financial analysis.
* Leads the company's strategy with respect to over the counter parts sales including measuring individual stores performance, recommending counter adviser training curricula and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Travels as required throughout the territory to regularly interface with Product Support Region Managers and store level Parts Managers to uncover process improvement opportunities and drive compliance with Corportate Parts policies.
* Perform in store audits on overall performance from a parts operations perspective.
* Serves as a key member on Fabick's Services Growth Strategic Initiative team representing the Parts Operations function.
* Serves as backup for all processes within the Parts Operations department.
* Any and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Supply Chain Engineering is required or equivalent years of experience.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a parts operations role. Prefer experience in heavy equipment industry.
* 3 years supervisor/management experience preferred.
* Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.
* Proven ability to influence cross functional teams without formal authority.
* Strong computer skills specifically in sequel reporting, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
