Getting Started

Do you offer Free Trials?

  • No. While we do offer discounted rates with volume Posting purchases, or other services that may be listed, as well as promotional discounts, from time to time, each of your Posting(s) (content being advertised) will receive the same level of attention as that of other, paying Employers.   

Do you offer Discounts?

  • Discounted rates are built in with volume Posting purchases, or other services that may be listed. If you want to present a formal Offer to purchase Postings, please do so by utilizing our Support Agent, Hunter. Hunter is our Job Posting and Job Seeker Support Assistant. You can find Hunter on our chatbox located the lower right of our web site 
  • Hunter is available 24/7 to help answer questions about using GCJobs.com.   .

What if we do not hire anyone from our job posting or nobody applies?

  • While we can't guarantee hiring results, as we do not have the authority to extend offers to interview, or offers of employment. Likewise, we cannot guarantee any Job Seeker will apply for, or accept an offer, for any posted job. Ultimately, it is our commitment to provide maximum exposure of your construction Job Posting to construction talent. We encourage you to research your affected market, particiapte in social media avenues known to support your hiring needs (we can help there as well though our software and our Active Job Seeker Sourcing finctions), review your job title, description, compensation, location, and requirements, as these factors directly contribute to your postings success and can significantly impact applicant interest.

Will our Job Posts be Posted only on GCJobs.com or will it go to multiple Job Boards?

  • Our software has built in SEO Boosting and Rapid Google Jobs Indexing, which leverages Google's Indexing API to accelerate crawling of every Job Posting. This results in faster and higher ranking visibility on Google's Search engine for Jobs
  • Other approved Job Boards crawl or scrape our site as well, increasing your reach.
  • Our Job Seeker Support team proactively feeds our Jobs onto various social media sites and social media groups on LinkedIn as well as Facebook (Meta)
  • **Please keep in mind, not all Users utilize Google as their search engine. Also, not all Users have clean pathways to capture impressions or views due to respective settings (ad blockers, etc.)

How do I create an Employer account?

Click the black  button from the header on our home page> Choose the Employer option from the “Account Type” from our Registration page you would like to create > Create your Employer Account by inputting your individual and your Company’s details> once completed, click the Green “Register”  button.

Is there a cost to create an account?

  • Creating an Employer account is FREE. Charges apply only when purchasing one of our Job Posting packages, or other products or services that may be later listed on our “Pricing” page.

Posting Jobs

How do I post a job?

  • Once Registered, log into your Employer Dashboard by clicking the "Login" link to the left of the Black Sig Up button at the top of our home page - OR simply click on the orange button at the top of our web site> If Selecting the orange button, Employers will need to follow a 4 step Job Posting process, which starts with creating an Employer Account> The next steps will be: to input Job Details > Input Posting Type > and finally to input your Payment method.
  • click Post Job, complete the job details, and publish.

How long does a posting remain active?

  • cDepending on your purchased package, Postings normally run for 30 or 45 days, or Job Postings can be Unlimited (under our customized subscription plans).

Can I edit a job after posting?

  • Yes. Edit the title, description, salary, location, or application instructions at any time.

Can I pause a job posting?

  • Yes. Jobs can be temporarily hidden without deleting them.

Can I repost an expired job?

  • Yes. Previous jobs can be reposted with one click.

Hiring Features

Can I receive applications by email?

  • Applications can be delivered in one of three ways - as directly submitted via our software from registered Job Seekers, sent directly to your e-mail, or via your proprietary Applicant Tracking systems link that you input when Posting your Job. All Applicant activity conducted within our software will be stored in your Employer Account.

Can multiple recruiters use one company account?

  • Yes, depending on your subscription. Contact us at hello@gcjobs.com with any questions on this topic further.

Can I feature my job listing?

  • Yes. Featured jobs receive greater visibility.

Can I advertise hard-to-fill positions?

  • Yes. Premium placement options help increase exposure.

Candidate Search

Can I search resumes?

  • Resume Search capabilities will be available soon.

Can I contact candidates directly?

  • Yes, for those who apply to your Posting. When Resume Search capabilities open, we will have an ability to search that database with applicable purchase or subscription.

Company Profile

Can I upload our company logo?

  • Yes.

Can I showcase our projects?

  • Yes. Company profiles may include photos, videos, company culture, safety record, benefits, awards, and career opportunities.

Can we list multiple office locations?

  • Yes.

ATS & Integrations

Can GCJobs.com integrate with our ATS?

  • Many ATS platforms support our job imports. Contact us regarding XML feeds and integrations at hello@gcjobs.com / 877-562-2627.

Can we automatically import jobs?

  • Yes, depending on your ATS. Contact us regarding your specific requirements at hello@gcjobs.com / 877-562-2627

What payment methods do you accept?
