Getting Started

Why should I use GCJobs.com instead of a general job board?

GCJobs.com is built exclusively for the construction industry. Your jobs are seen by construction professionals—not people searching every industry. This helps improve applicant quality while reducing irrelevant applications.

Who can post jobs?

General Contractors, Specialty Contractors, Construction Managers, EPC Firms, Building Product Manufacturers, Facility Services Companies, Staffing Firms, Engineering Firms, Owners & Developers.

How do I create an Employer account?

Click the black “Sign Up”  button from the header on our home page> Choose the Employer option from the “Account Type” you would like to create > Create your Employer Account by inputting your Company’s details> once completed, click the Green “Register”  button.

Is there a cost to create an account?

Creating an Employer account is free. Charges apply only when purchasing job posting packages or other services that may be listed on our “Pricing” page.

Do you offer Free Trials?

No. While we do offer discounted rates with volume Posting purchases, as well as promotional discounts, from time to time, each of your Posting(s) (content) will receive the same level of attention as that of other, paying Employers.   

Posting Jobs

How do I post a job?

Log into your Employer Dashboard, click Post a Job, complete the job details, and publish.

How long does a posting remain active?

Depending on your package: 30 Days, 60 Days, or Unlimited (subscription plans).

Can I edit a job after posting?

Yes. Edit the title, description, salary, location, or application instructions at any time.

Can I pause a job posting?

Yes. Jobs can be temporarily hidden without deleting them.

Can I repost an expired job?

Yes. Previous jobs can be reposted with one click.

Hiring Features

Can I receive applications by email?

Applications can be sent directly to your email, stored in your Employer Dashboard, or both.

Can multiple recruiters use one company account?

Yes, depending on your subscription.

Can I feature my job listing?

Yes. Featured jobs receive greater visibility.

Can I advertise hard-to-fill positions?

Yes. Premium placement options help increase exposure.

Candidate Search

Can I search resumes?

Resume Search will be available soon.

Can I contact candidates directly?

Yes, when Resume Search is included with your subscription.

Company Profile

Can I upload our company logo?

Yes.

Can I showcase our projects?

Yes. Company profiles may include photos, videos, company culture, safety record, benefits, awards, and career opportunities.

Can we list multiple office locations?

Yes.

ATS & Integrations

Can GCJobs.com integrate with our ATS?

Many ATS platforms support job imports. Contact us regarding XML feeds and integrations.

Can we automatically import jobs?

Yes, depending on your ATS.

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and ACH (where available).
